PATRIOTISM
Why do we love to criticize our country? We are the ones to bring about the growth and change we want in our country. Most times, we just sit back and criticize our nation not knowing that we are the change we want in our nation. If we criticize them, who do we expect to support them? I am not saying that we are better than the foreigners or that they are better than us. Even if we love the activities of the foreigners and the way the live, let us inculcate that in us, support our nation and love her. The support we give her will go a long way.
The foreign countries like China and America that we always compare our country to is where they are because they got maximum support from their citizens.
We should always be proud of our nation. Take for example, our nollywood movies, most of us are saying that we don't love nollywood, that their tricks are much but why can't we try to bring about that change. We prefer the foreign movies who have taken so much time to get to that point.
They didn't get to the point they are now because they were criticizing their nation.
Despite the fact that we are facing a lot of problems and we are really in a hard time, we should also know that no condition is permanent. The Nigeria we know will never remain the same. We must surely have a new Nigeria. Let us arise and defend our father land.
How can we say we want our nation to be good whereas we criticize our activities, our movies and our way of lives, we compare them to others.
If we really want to be like Americans, it should start with you and me and not always expect the government to perform a magic so that Nigeria will suddenly turn to America.
Always know that we have duties and responsibilities we owe our nation as we enjoy our rights.
We should make ourselves stake holders in our nation by always voting for the right leaders and not sell our votes. We sell our nation when we sell our votes.
Let us give our maximum support to our country and our leaders. Together, we can make our country better.
